First, I want to say 'Thank You' to all my friends and family who have supported me in my endeavors to start the first Colorado Springs ADHD Parent Support Group. I appreciate all your kind thoughts, prayers, and for helping me spread the word!
We had 5 parents show up and I had a great time getting to know them and finding out more about their kids with ADHD. We had some great discussions and I have a couple of ideas for some guest speakers to start working on. I am looking forward to our next meeting on June 4th from 7-9pm at Penrose Main Hospital, Cactus Room. For more details, check out our CHADD Colorado Springs Satellite Webpage:

Sounds like your off to a wonderful start!! I am so proud of you as i remember when you were just thinking of filling out the paper work, now look at you! Good for you!!
